Short version: we collect the minimum needed to reply to you and to send the newsletter you asked for. We store it on our own server. We do not sell it, and you can have it deleted by sending one email.
What we collect
- Contact and application forms. Your name, email address, optional phone number, the topic you selected, your stated experience level, and your message. We use these only to reply to you and, if you applied for the setup service, to prepare the call.
- Newsletter. Your email address, plus the date you subscribed. Used only to send the newsletter.
- Affiliate clicks. When you click a partner link we record which partner you clicked, which page you came from, and the time. We do not store your IP address or build a profile of you.
- Server logs. Our web server keeps standard technical logs for security and troubleshooting, and they are rotated regularly.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data to anyone, ever.
- We do not run advertising trackers or third-party advertising pixels.
- We do not use cookies for tracking. The only cookie this site sets is the login session cookie for our own staff.
- We never collect payment card details. No payment is processed on this website at all.
Where your data lives
In a database on a server we control, not in a third-party marketing platform. Access is limited to the people who run this site. Embedded videos, where present, are loaded from a privacy-extended video host that does not set tracking cookies until you press play.
How long we keep it
Contact messages and applications are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Ask us to delete something sooner and we will.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@nomadic-traders.com and we will action it within a reasonable time and confirm when it is done. Every newsletter also contains a one-click unsubscribe.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page and describe the change in the newsletter.
